Lucid Architecture was formed in 2004 by Andy Whyte and has carried out many projects across the most beautiful parts of Scotland, many of them on lovely historical buildings. Andy trained at the world famous Glasgow School of Art and is a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects and The Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland. He worked on a range of high quality projects in private practice prior to setting up his own practice.
The practice is well established with most of the work coming from recommendations and repeat business. We like challenges and take pride in spending time to find a different approach to achieve a better end product, often managing to meet requirements which may seem impossible to deal with. A simple love of design, drawing and seeing projects turn into reality keeps the practice moving forward and developing. We are always eager for new projects and clients to work with and show what we can achieve.
The new office in Montenegro provides a base to explore these opportunities in our adopted second homeland. It’s very similar to Scotland in terms of the beauty and topography of land and sea and thus ideal to explore some of our design skills over here.
